Why can't I log in?
You must register in order to log in. Have you been banned from the board? (A message will be displayed if you have.) If so, you should contact one of the board administrators to find out why. If you have registered and are not banned and you still cannot log in then check and double-check your username and password. Usually this is the problem; if not, contact the board administrator.
Why do I need to register?
You don't have to if you just want to see the general stuff on the board. However, registration will give you access to additional features not available to guest users such as definable avatar images, private messaging, emailing to fellow users, links to movies, Member's only areas, etc. It only takes a few minutes to register so it is recommended you do so. Information on how to register can be found at: Help with registration.
Can I use a fake name to register with?
Yes. Due to the nature of the board your username can be anything you want it to be. However please try to keep the names relevant to the fantasy. If your username is highly inappropriate, such that it is easy to confuse you with a staff member, then one of the staff (namely an admin) would ask you about it and maybe suggest a more appropriate name.
Can I sign up under a bunch of different names?
No. There are means to find people with multiple accounts. If you do not have a valid reason for them, you risk being considered as a troublemaker and banned.
How do I change my user name?
In order to change your user name, e-mail or PM a staff member. If you are a member in good standing, they will change your name for you. Please do not try to open a new account to change your name. We will find out about it in no time and we will not be pleased.
Why do I get logged off automatically?
If you do not check the "Keep me Logged in" box when you log in, the board will only keep you logged in for certain amount of time. This prevents misuse of your account by anyone else should you use a public access computer. To stay logged in, check the box during login. This is not recommended if you access the board from a shared computer, e.g. library, internet cafe, university, etc.
How do I prevent my username from appearing in the online user listings?
In your profile there is an option "Show others your online status?" If you switch this off then you'll only appear to board administrators, moderators or to yourself. You will be counted as a hidden user.
What do I do if I've lost my password?
Your password cannot be retrieved but it can be reset. To do this go to the login page and click I've forgotten my password. Follow the instructions and you should be back online in no time. If you still have trouble, contact an admin.
Why do you need my email address?
In order to stop automated spambots from registering, this board's registration is user activated. It means that an activation code will be sent to your email along with instruction on how to activate your account. This makes sure you are a human who can check your email. Additionally, having an email for news about the site is also useful so you are aware of what is going on.
Can I hide my email address?
Yes, it is recommended that you do so if you do not want people to email you. If someone on the board wishes to contact you there is always PM. You can hide your email by going into profile and checking the box "Hide email address from public?" Your email address will only appear to board administrators, moderators and to yourself.

How do I change my profile settings?
All your settings (if you are registered) are stored in the database. To alter them click the Profile link. This will allow you to change all your settings. Help for this can be found at: Profile Help.
The times are not correct!
Oh yes they are! What you may be seeing are times displayed in a timezone different from the one you are in. If this is the case, you should change your profile setting for the timezone to match your particular area, e.g. London, Paris, New York, Sydney, etc. Please note that changing the timezone, like most settings, can only be done by registered users.
I changed the timezone and the time is still wrong!
If you are sure you have set the timezone correctly and the time is still different, the most likely answer is daylight savings time (or summer time as it is known in the UK and other places). The board is not designed to handle the changeovers between standard and daylight time so during summer months the time may be an hour different from the real local time.
My language is not in the list!
No. There are means to find people with multiple accounts. If you do not have a valid reason for them, you risk being considered as a troublemaker and banned.
How do I change my user name?
The most likely reasons for this are either the administrator did not install your language or someone has not translated this board into your language. Try asking the board administrator if they can install the language pack you need. The board uses English as the default language and we would like to stick with English so everyone on the board can understand.
How do I show an image below my username?
There may be two images below a username when viewing posts. The first is an image associated with your rank; generally these take the form of stars or blocks indicating how many posts you have made or your status on the forums. Below this may be a larger image known as an avatar; this is generally unique or personal to each user. It is up to the board administrator to enable avatars and they have a choice over the way in which avatars can be made available.
What can I use for my avatar?
Generally there will be a default set or two you can pick from. You are welcome to add your own personal avatar either by using a url or via upload from your computer. Avatars may be up to 150 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall. If it is too big, you will get an error message.
What can I use for my signature?
You can use anything from a quote to an image. If you want an image, then use the image BBCode. Please keep the images small as we don't want the forum to look like a bill board. You can even use a link to another site but ask first what is allowed there before you put it in.
Can I have a link to my own forum or another related rape fantasy forum as my signature?
Depends. If your forum is a non-rape-fantasy related site, then you will most probably be given permission to have your link in the signature. If the site is a rape-fantasy related site like SV and if the site you want to link has no link sharing agreement with us, chances are that permission will be denied unless we start link sharing. If we already link share, the links will be in the Links section of the board. You can ask one of the administrator’s permission to put your link as a signature. We will usually not ban you outright if you are found to be using a link as your signature but ask first and we might be nice to you.
How do I change my rank?
Your rank changes automatically with your post count. You can pick your custom title if you like but in general you cannot directly change the wording of any rank (ranks appear below your username in topics and on your profile depending on the style used). Most boards use ranks to indicate the number of posts you have made and to identify certain users. For example, moderators and administrators may have a special rank. Please do not abuse the board by posting unnecessarily just to increase your rank -- you will probably find the moderator or administrator will simply lower your post count.
What is a post count and how can I change it?
Whenever you make a post in the forums, your post count will increase. This works everywhere except for the SV game room. Most people try to increase post count to access Member areas. We have strict rules on post counts, especially for the first 20 posts on the board. Click here for rules on accessing Member Areas.
What are Member's Areas and how can I access them?
These are places on the board that are hidden to guests and hidden to members with less than 20 posts. This post count is subject to change as need arises. The Member's area contains movies, pictures, comics, etc. that we want contributing members to access. Read more about how you can access these areas here.
What is a custom title and how can I change mine?
It is anything you'd like to call yourself. It will appear under your Name in your Profile summary as well as in each of your posts. You can change your custom title by going Modify Profile=> Modify Forum Profile Information and the input text box is just above the place where you enter your signature.
When I click the PM link for a user it asks me to log in.
Only registered users can send PM to people. This is to prevent malicious use of the PM system by anonymous users.
What's "MY BOOKMARKS" and how do I use it?
It is a quick way of bookmarking the threads that you visit the most. If you click the 'Add Bookmark' tab on the top right hand of the thread, that thread will show up in a dedicated section at the top of the main forum index page called MY BOOKMARKS. To remove a thread from your bookmarks, tick the box on the right side of the forum listing page and press the 'Remove' button. Note that you aren’t alerted when there’s an update, but you can come back to the topic later.
How can I be notified of replies to a particular post?
Easy, there is a little box below the main posting box which says "notify me of replies". Then in your Profile make sure you have ticked the option you want regarding "Notifications and Email". You have three choices on how and what you will be notified on. This part will also show you the topics and boards that you have asked to be notified about.
What is the buddy list for?
Obviously to add your buddies so you can tell if they are online or off. When someone is in your buddy list they appear bold in the Online List for the day so you can tell if they have been online. They will also appear bold in the Who's online List to make it easier for you to spot them.
Posting Issues

How do I post a topic?
Easy -- click the relevant button on either the forum or topic screens. You need to register before you can post a message. The facilities available to you are listed at the top or bottom of the forum and topic screens.
See
Posting help , for more information.
Can I start forty threads on the same topic?
No. You may not even do so if you are drunk or legally insane. Your posts are likely to be merged into one. If the moderator or admin on duty is in a good mood they might copy and paste all the ideas into one single post. Otherwise they will be deleted. You will also be warned and given proper instructions on how to post. We encourage you to post but be mindful of others.
How do I edit or delete a post?
Unless you are a board admin or moderator you can only edit or delete your own posts. You can edit a post (sometimes for only a limited time after it was made) by clicking the edit button for the relevant post. If someone has already replied to the post, you will find a small piece of text output below the post when you return to the topic that lists the number of times you edited it. This will only appear if no one has replied; it also will not appear if moderators or administrators edit the post (they should leave a message saying what they altered and why). Please note that normal users cannot delete a post once someone has replied.
How do I create a poll?
Creating a poll is easy. There is a tab on the top right of the board "Post new poll". You should enter a title for the poll and then at least two options. To set additional options click the Add option button. You can also set a time limit for the poll, 0 being an infinite amount. There will be a limit to the number of options you can list, which is set by the board administrator.
Can I lock or delete topics I have started?
No. If you are the author of a topic and you would like for it to be locked or deleted, please send a PM to a moderator or an administrator. For members with higher post counts the option of locking their own topic is available.
What do I do if I think a post is inappropriate?
If you believe that a topic or post is in violation of the forum rules, please click the report to moderator link at the bottom right of the offending post.
How do I edit or delete a poll?
As with posts, polls can only be edited by the original poster, a moderator, or administrator. To edit a poll, click the first post in the topic, which always has the poll associated with it. If no one has cast a vote then users can delete the poll or edit any poll option. However, if people have already placed votes only moderators or administrators can edit or delete it; this is to prevent people rigging polls by changing options mid-way through a poll.
Why can't I access a forum?
Some forums may be limited to certain users or groups. To view, read, post, etc. you may need special authorization which only the forum moderator and board administrator can grant, so you should contact them. Most of SV's forums are based on Member-groups and open up automatically as you post more. Please note that posting just to increase your post count will result in you being penalised by having your post count adjusted.
Why can't I vote in polls?
Only registered users can vote in polls so as to prevent spoofing of results. If you have registered and still cannot vote then you probably do not have appropriate access rights.
How do I add a signature to my post?
To add a signature to a post you must first create one; this is done via your profile. Once created you can add your signature which is right below the custom title option.
Can I add attachments to my posts?
No, this feature has been disabled. If you would like to post images please following instructions on
Posting Images .
Can I make requests on the board?
Yes. There are designated threads to request pictures, stories, movies, etc. Use these areas to post a request and put in as much detail as possible.
Can I post personal stuff about myself?
You are welcome to post personal information about yourself. There is a section for blogs which are not open to guests. We take no responsibility for the disclosure choices you make. For your safety we prefer you never post your address, phone numbers, real name or any blog such as facebook or myspace with your real details. This is the internet and you have no idea who could be watching.
Can I post personal stuff about other people?
No. If you try, you will be warned and the offending post deleted. We respect people's privacy. If anyone attempts to post personal communication details, they will be warned once and banned.
Can I post about what another board is doing?
No thank you. We have enough to keep us occupied.
Can I post my social/political views no matter how fucking ignorant they are?
Yes, but if they are inflammatory then you risk offending other members who might think it is their right to put you in your place. Learn to understand more than one side of an argument and you will become a worthy human being. If it gets out of hand a mod/admin will step in and move it to the rowdy room. In order to prevent anarchy we might lock the thread too.
What is copyright?
Copyright is a form of protection provided to the authors of “original works” and includes such things as literary, dramatic, musical, artistic, and certain other intellectual creations, both published and unpublished. Copyright does not protect ideas. It only protects the specific and original expression of the idea. A good example of this is that there are many films and books based on the classic boy meets girl theme in which the girl’s parents disapprove of boy and after many tears, true love finally triumphs. This theme cannot be monopolised, but original works to it can be. The same can be said of all other works.
This definition is from
Piperpat.com where you will find other useful information on it.
Can I copy someone's story to SV and make it look like I wrote it?
No. That is called plagiarism - taking credit for someone's work. If you are found doing it, you will be publicly humiliated. Same with links, if you must post a link that does not belong to you, give credit to the original uploader. You may copy a favourite story if you clearly give credit to author and the story is in the public domain.
I have a favourite story I want to share. How can I post a story?
The proper way to post stories are given at
Story Guidelines. Please read the
Board Rules before to make sure the content is allowed on the board. SV has a number of story sections including Rape, BDSM, Fantasy, Fan Fiction, Beast, etc. Please make sure you post in the correct section.
The story I want to post is gigantic, how do I post it?
Well, if your story is over 20 pages, then we'd prefer you put it into a word or text document and then upload it to a share site and post the link. You can follow similar guidelines as posting movies:
Uploading and uploading sites.
Where can I post my own original stories?
If you have some original tales, we'll love to read. SV has a separate section for your original stories, ones you have written yourself. The
Savage Original Tales is where these stories should be posted.
I want to share a movie, how can I do that?
How can I download a movie?
Simple. Click on the links and Save as. If the movie is big, you might want to use a download software so that if the connection times out you don't lose the download.
How do I extract a file that I downloaded?
Easy. Follow these
rules on how to extract a file that has been archived/zipped. If the file is in multiple parts you will need to download each part, then
Join them before the movie can be extracted.

What is BBCode?
BBCode is a special implementation of HTML. You can use BBCode at SV. BBCode itself is similar in style to HTML: tags are enclosed in square braces [ and ] rather than < and > and it offers greater control over what and how something is displayed. For more information on BBCode see the guide which can be accessed from the posting help.
Can I use HTML?
HTML has been disabled. This is a safety feature to prevent people from abusing the board by using tags which may destroy the layout or cause other problems.
What are Smileys?
Smileys, or Emoticons, are small graphical images which can be used to express some feeling using a short code, e.g. :) means happy, :( means sad. The full list of emoticons can be seen via the posting form. Try not to overuse smileys, though, as they can quickly render a post unreadable and a moderator may decide to edit them out or remove the post altogether.
Can I post Images?
Images can be shown in your posts. Since the attachement feature for this baord has been disabled there is no facility for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server. See
Instructions for Posting Images
What are Global Announcements?
Global Announcements often contain important information about the board and you should read. Announcements appear at the top of every page in the forum to which they are posted.
What are Sticky topics?
Sticky topics appear only on the first page. They are often quite important so you should read them where possible. If you would like a thread stickied please PM a moderator or an administrator.
What are Locked topics?
Locked topics are set this way by either the forum moderator or board administrators. You cannot reply to locked topics and any poll contained inside is automatically ended. Topics may be locked for many reasons. Do not repost the agenda of a locked topic without contacting a moderator or an administrator.
User Levels and Groups
Collapse all | Expand all | Back to Top
What are Administrators?
Administrators are people assigned the highest level of control over the entire board. These people can control all facets of board operation which include setting permissions, banning users, creating membergroups or moderators, etc. They also have full moderator capabilities in all the forums.
What are Moderators?
Moderators are individuals (or groups of individuals) whose job it is to look after the running of the forums from day to day. They have the power to edit or delete posts and lock, unlock, move, delete and split topics in the forum they moderate. Generally moderators are there to prevent people going off-topic or posting abusive or offensive material.
Who are the administrators and moderators of SavageViolation?
Click
here to find information on SV's staff.
Why can't I access Member boards?
In order to access the hidden boards you need to achieve 20 good posts. Good posts do not include simple "Thank you", "That's great", "Nice", etc. A good post is an original contribution you make with respect to a poll, discussion, pictures, roleplay, and general ideas. If you are caught post fishing your post count will be manually adjusted and in severe cases you will be given a temporary or permanent ban.
What are Membergroups?
Membergroups are a way in which board administrators can group users. Each user can belong to several groups and each group can be assigned individual access rights. This makes it easy for administrators to set up several users as moderators of a forum, or to give them access to a private forum, etc.
What are the Membergroups in SV?
Click
here to find information on SV's Membergroups.
How do I join a Membergroup?
Membergroups are based on post counts. You will automatically change groups as you contribute on the board. Please make sure that you do not go post fishing just to increase posts. We review the first 20 posts on the board. If they are not up to the quality we'd like, your post count may be adjusted.
I have been posting in the game room, why is my post count not changing?
The game room posts do not count towards your total post count. Please make sure you are posting in the appropriate sections in order to improve your post count and status on the board.
How do I become a Moderator?
The position of Moderator is given to people who have shown they are capable of making good posts and good contributions to the board. Moderation is a serious responsibility requiring a certain time commitment. We would approach you if we are in need of moderators and if we think you are capable of the job.
Private Messaging
Collapse all | Expand all | Back to Top
Why can I not send private messages
There are three reasons for this; you are not registered and/or not logged on, the board administrator has disabled private messaging for the entire board, or the board administrator has prevented you individually from sending messages. If it is the latter case you should try asking the administrator why.
Why do I keep getting unwanted private messages?
If it is by a member, and they keep doing it after you have told then you are not interested, please report it to a member of staff. There is also a place in your Profile where you can add people who you want to ignore.
I received a spamming or abusive Email/PM from someone on this board, what do I do?
If you do not know who it is then you should Email/PM the board administrator with a full copy of the email/PM you received. Include the headers (these list details of the user that sent the email). They can then take action.
If you know who it is and they are sending PM from within the board let staff know.
Can I spam the forum for people to come join my Yahoo Group or Geocities site or even a site on an actual domain?
No. There is an entire link section to add your link to. Ask Kimbra to post your link and if you let us have our link at your board, we will gladly put yours up here too.
Can I PM spam the for people to come join my Yahoo Group or Geocities site or even a site on an actual domain?
You may PM your friends here about it but we'd prefer you didn't bother people you do not know so they don't come and bother us with spam complaints.
Why do I have a PM limit?
We have a PM limit on new members as a security precaution. We can't have people spamming about Viagra now can we? Your PM abilities will increase with your post count. If we have received complaints about you, we will set your limit lower so you do not continue to bother people.
Does SV check my PM?
No. We respect your privacy to the max. However, there are a few serious reasons why we would ever check your PM levels or content.
Reason 1: Someone complains that you are harassing them with loads of unwanted PM.
SV action: In this case we can have a look at the quantity of the PMs before putting the offender in a category that limits their PM abilities. The complainant can also put the offender in the "Ignore" list.
Reason 2: If we are made aware that you are trying to run a real rape/kiddie porn ring
SV action: We will be obliged to hand the PMs to the proper authorities.
Does SV PM Spam?
SV has unfortunately conducted recruitment campaigns in the past which included PM spam. We regret the inconvenience caused during those times. SV no longer actively recruits via PM on other boards.
Does SV Email Spam?
Apart from a newsletter to members once in some months, SV will not send you email. If someone has suggested that we invite a member, we might consider sending them an email invite.
Interpersonal Skills, your posts and Account
Collapse all | Expand all | Back to Top
What is an acceptable standard of communication on the board?
English is the default language on board. There are people ranging from the age of 18 to over 60. Please use appropriate English when communicating. Chatspeak (txtspeak) English is not recommended. Spell out your words. There is a spell check feature, learn to use it. If someone asks you to translate or explain an acronym, please do so.
Can I argue and debate on SV?
You can argue and debate when you are invited to do so. Usually there are topics in the Rowdy and the General sections that can contain debates. You may not argue or debate about staff decisions. When debating, try not to add sarcasm, sardonic quips, and please mind your facts and logic. If you are not sure about a fact, say so and don't pretend you are the overlord of the topic content unless you have a doctorate on it. We consider SV to consist of intellectual personalities and we expect them to spew high-class stuff. We intend to have a good reputation with regard to the level and content of debate. If you think it is your personal right to be an ass, just fuck off.
Can I exercise free speech and the First Amendment as I please?
While you are encouraged to give your opinion please remember that this is not a public place and your First Amendment rights do not apply. Someone pays for this board so learn to plead the Fifth when necessary or we will gag you.
Can I find real life play mates on SV?
We leave that up to the players. Please note that SV is not a meat-market, there are real people behind the freaky avatars. Most of these people already have lives and they do not want to be pestered for dates of any sort. Ladies, you are not obliged to give your personal information to anyone. If you are unsure of something and do not want to talk to a male, there are female administrators and moderators who are able to listen and help. Also remember that this is a rape fantasy site so most of the males would be geared up to engage you in their own fantasy ways. If you can't hack it, then this is not the place for you. If however you are being targeted constantly, ask for help. We do not encourage stalker behaviour here but we will also not conduct witch hunts. You are the sole guardian of your private real life details. Do not be careless with those things.
Can I call someone a stalker because they said the equivalent of "I'm going to get you"?
Depends on whether you have reasonable belief that the threat is real. This is a rape-fantasy site so some 'threats' are part and parcel of the fun. Let an administrator or moderator know if you have sufficient reason to think the threat is real so they can investigate and if needed, alert the proper authorities. Remember, innocent until proven guilty. Just because you feel threatened does not automatically mean the threat is real. We will take into account many aspects such as the details the potential offender has acquired, their proximity and likelihood of making real on the threat, ability to identify you, etc. in making these decisions. Please be careful about giving your personal details to anyone.
Can I use the boards to moan?
If your pet passed away and you are feeling terrible and lonely please feel free to express yourself. We sympathise and in most cases we will do our best to support you. The "Your Life" section of the board as well as the Rowdy room are available to you.
However, if you are going to accuse someone of a potential crime, you better have a damn good reason to do so in public. We discourage posting these issues on the forum. Let an administrator or moderator know immediately. People who falsely accuse others to generate sympathy for themselves will be banned once found to be lying. This is not a mental institute; if you have mental issues please see a qualified therapist.
Can I be at more than one rape fantasy board?
Of course. We know almost all members belong to more than one board. It is simply the nature of the internet. We would not have it any other way and we will never hassle you about it. We are happy for the regular members who visit us often and we treasure them. We have a link section on various forums and you are more than welcome to join them and increase your activities.
Can I flame fellow members?
No. We do not care if you are Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the Angel Gabriel, a saint or anything else that is deemed respectable or even the devil himself, you are not allowed to flame anyone or any other site here. Flaming shows lack of character and we like all you characters to be fun loving ones.
Why did I get called a post whore? Is it a bad thing?
You were called a post whore because we love you and your posting abilities. Yes we know the definition of post whore is something along the lines of “someone who posts bullshit just to increase post count”. But at SV, “whore” is an endearment believe it or not. This is a porn site and we value sluts and whores as much as the sweet innocent virgins. So if you did get called a post whore, consider yourself congratulated and embraced as part of the savage family. So yes, it is a good thing, an endearment in our own screwed up way. Those who post to increase their post count are given the title “post phisher” and we have ways of dealing with them. Check the discipline section.
Can I put down members who registered more recently than I did?
Would really prefer it if you did not. You are all important to us. Besides, we can only tolerate so many arrogant pricks around here.
Can I put down members who have less karma than I do?
You may not. Karma is a level of appreciation, not a sign that you are lord and master/mistress of the board.
Can I tell off a member for doing something wrong?
No. Notify a moderator or administrator who will gladly do it for you. No one other than the moderators and administrators can take disciplinary actions. We would like you all to just sit back, relax and have fun. If you think something is wrong, tell us immediately and we will do what is right and in some cases what is necessary.
What happens to my posts on SV? Can I edit/delete them?
If someone replies to your post, it can no longer be deleted. SavageViolation reserves the transferrable right to archive and disseminate all posts made on SavageViolation in perpetuity i.e. forever and ever throughout the universe. Posters retain all copyright which does not conflict with the posts appearing on a forum and being archived in a database. But don’t post it if you might want to deny it later.
My new boyfriend/girlfriend is vanilla and not into rape fantasies, so how can I delete my account and remove all my posts?
You can't. What part of perpetuity is confusing you? Who you have been is still part of who you are and your new lover should just learn to deal with it.
My mother found out about my account and wants me to stop; can I delete my account and posts?
Again No. You are 18+, you are an adult, make your own damn decisions. You may stop using the board any time and we might be kind enough to change your details so your mother would not find out that your posts are still here.
If I am banned for breaking the rules can I delete my account and posts?
No, you really should be getting the whole idea about perpetuity by now.
If I am banned for breaking the rules and I want my posts deleted, can I accuse the site of copyright infringement?
You can try but it was posted by you genius so no one copied it and you might come across looking like an idiot.
Can I turn SV into drama central?
No. If you want to vent you may post in the rowdy room but you may not flame anyone or any site. You may not bait anyone from SV by making rowdy comments. If you do so, you will be given a time out or depending on how serious it is, you will be banned.
Can I use the SavageViolation.com boards to spew defamation/libel/slander?
No. You will be warned once, the offending posts deleted and if it continues you will be banned. This applies to staff as well as members at this site.
What is defamation/libel/slander?
The personal injury concept of "defamation" involves harm to a person's reputation. "Libel" and "slander" are two forms of defamation. Libel typically refers to defamation that is written or published, while slander is usually limited to oral defamation.
Can I go to another board and complain about SavageViolation?
Like SV, most boards do not like it when you bring other’s drama to them so it is really up to you. If you have an issue with SV you should talk to SV staff. If you are reasonable, we too will be reasonable.

What is post phishing?
Phishing is a serious crime where people steal other's details in the hope of stealing their money as the end result. It is a scam. Post phishing is a scam whereby some people post simple posts so that they can increase their post count. This is unfair to those members who make an effort with their contributions so we keep an eye on the first 20 posts of any member who joins.
What happens if I am caught post phishing?
If you are caught phishing, you will get a PM warning you of what you are doing together with a set of instructions on how to be a better member. Your post count will be adjusted to something we consider appropriate. If you continue to post phish, you will be sent a warning. If you still insist on being an idiot you will be sent 1 more warning before you are moved into a category called "Probationary Savage". If you still insist on continuing your behaviour, you will be moved into the "Restricted" category which is essentially a ban where your posting privileges are revoked. Don't say we didn't warn you.
More information on the more serious
Phishing.
Why is there a "Probationary Savage" title in my profile?
Simple, you have been naughty in the past and we had caught you. You are only here again due to our good graces. If you insist on repeating history you will be moved to the "Restricted" category and you can say "Bye-bye" to most of your privileges including posting, PM, etc.
How can I prove I am not a trouble maker so I can get out of the "Probationary Savage" Category?
Make genuine contributions that please us. Grovel and be nice. After you attain around 100 exceptional posts we will consider you cured of whatever ailed you and promptly move to integrate you within the sane members of our community.
Can I talk about sex with minors?
Fucking hell NO. Everyone on this board is to be 18+ and as such all talk of sex, unless it is clearly stated that the adult players are considering age play, must be between adults. If there is even a hint of sex with minors for real you are likely to be reported at least to your ISP if not to a higher authorities.
What is this "age play" thing?
Ageplay or age play is a form of erotic roleplaying in which an individual acts or treats another as if they were a different age. Generally this can involve someone pretending to be younger than they actually are, but more rarely can involve assuming an older role. (
Wikipedia).
Will I be banned for asking for real rape?
Yes. This is the other thing we will NEVER tolerate here. That and underage content of any nature will get you banned and possibly reported to the authorities.
Is it true that a moderator or admin can ban me if I refuse to play with him/her?
No, that is complete and utter bullshit. While some of you may have heard some incredible stories here and there, the board is filled with people who are available to talk. We will not chase after anyone to keep us company, we have work to do on our own and people we talk to on a regular basis. While it would be nice to get to know some of you, we do not demand it and chatting with over 3000 members is unrealistic. So do not feel sad if we do not chat with you, it is not personal.
Will I be banned for threatening members and/or stalking them?
There is a high likelihood that you will be warned once and if your behaviour does not improve then you will be banned.
Can a moderator ban me?
Yes, they are allowed to give temporary bans. All permanent bans must go through administrators.
Can I use a proxy to re-register if I am banned?
Usually if you re-register and do not cause trouble, we will leave you alone to lurk if that suits you. But if you re-register to cause trouble your new account will be banned, and your posts made with the new account will be deleted immediately. We will do this until you run out of proxies or get bored and get a life.
Are decisions made by administrators final?
In most cases a ban comes about after voting. SavageViolation has 3 administrators. We will try to agree on likely disciplinary action before they are implemented. SirSinister is the owner of SV. He has the final vote but in most cases we will only exercise permanent bans with the knowledge and consensus of all three administrators that you are a security risk.
What is the fastest way to get banned?
Ask for real rape, talk or post underage content, threaten the board, a member of the board or staff and you will be out in no time.
What do I do if I am banned?
Think about what you did wrong, go to confession, get exorcised then get on with your life.
Can a member argue about a decision made by an admin or moderator?
No, if we wanted you to argue about it you'd be a member of staff already.
Can I talk shit about a moderator or administrator?
No, if you have issues with staff, contact an administrator. If you have issues with an administrator, there are two others for you to contact. If you have issues with all three, then kindly fuck off. We have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to stupidity.
Can I get a moderator into trouble?
Usually no. If you have an issue with a moderator, PM an Administrator and put your case forward. We will look into it and if we as a collective think mod action against you is unjustified, we will deal with the moderator at our own discretion.
Can a moderator or administrator talk shit about me in public after I am banned?
No. Firstly you should not be hanging around if you were banned. But, if a moderator is flaming you then an administrator will take it up with him/her. There is no reason to flame someone who is not able to plead their case without rejoining and thus disrespecting admin decision to ban. If you are banned, talk of you should cease immediately. If you are banned and you use a proxy to cause trouble, your posts will be deleted as soon as they are made. This will repeat regardless of how witty you try to be until you get tired and fuck off somewhere else.
Can a moderator or admin accuse me of being bad just because they don't like me?
We follow an "Innocent until proven guilty" type of logic that is commonly used in a court of law. We will not conduct witch-hunts, this is the 21st century so we will try and be civilised.
Moderators are supposed to follow site rules too. If you have been bad, your actions, i.e. your posts will be reviewed to see if they are against site rules. Usually this will be done by another admin/mod to retain objectivity. If it is found that you have indeed been bad, we will have to discipline you. If it is found that you have not been bad you will be free to continue. SV staff will never post about you in the public forums without sufficient evidence that you have done something wrong. Staff are human and we make mistakes sometimes so we will never publicly humiliate you without damn good reason and solid proof.
What happens if I am publicly humiliated wrongly?
We will never publicly humiliate you unless you do something really bad like asking for real rape. If however in the remote chance that we accuse you publicly of something and it turns out to be very wrong, SavageViolation and the staff member/s responsible will publicly apologise to you. To err is only human.
What can SV do if I troll and become a nuisance?
We can ban you, we can report you to your ISP, we can report you to a higher authority.
Are there real sex offenders on SV?
Answer to that - Are there sex offenders on other similar rape fantasy sites? The internet allows for anonymity as such anyone would be able to visit these sites. In any case you should be careful about divulging your real life details to anyone unless you are living with them and/or are married or in a relationship which goes above and beyond an online fling.
